An eclectic mix of modern and traditional music performed by five internationally renowned musicians. The Atlantic Quartet toured Germany in February to great acclaim, and now bring their idiosyncratic take on traditional music to Scotland, joined by one of Ireland's foremost traditional accompanists, Mike Galvin. The quartet features virtuoso Luke Daniels (London) on button accordion, Nuala Kennedy (Ireland/Edinburgh) on flute and vocals, jazz double bassist Mario Caribe (Brazil/Edinbrugh) and award-winning Canadian musician Troy MacGillivray (Nova Scotia) on violin and piano.
