Feis Ghleann Albainn (Fort Augustus Feis) February 2007

I can definitely recommend this Feis as a great February experience in the highlands. It was a fantastic weekend of teaching enthusiastic students, playing lots of great tunes, and even getting to serve drinks behind the bar (sometimes all at the same time!)

It was great to catch up with Angus Grants, senior and junior, Jonny and Charlie McKerron, and especially the boul Tim Edey – we made a great pair of hardworking staff as you can see……if anyone would like to buy us a bar, we will be glad to work away there!

I also met some lovely and amazingly talented new folks – Christina and Martin MacDonald, not to mention all the locals from Fort Augustus who made the weekend so enjoyable. Here’s to more Feisean like this one! Suas e!
